Description
Psylium Husk is a bulk-formin laxative that is used for relief of occasional constipation (irregularity). This product generally produces bowel movements in 12 to 72 hours.
Directions: Adults: Take 5 capsules three times daily with 250 mL of water. Produces bowel movement in 12-72 hours. In addition, drink 6 to 8 glasses of liquid each day unless otherwise instructed by a physician.
Medicinal Ingredients (per capsule):
Warning: Do not take any type of laxative for more than 1 week, unless your physician has ordered a special schedule for you. Do not take laxatives within 2 hours of another medicine because the desired effect of the other medicine may be reduced. Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow in dry form.
Contra-Indications: Do not use in the presence of abdominal pain, nausea, fever or vomiting (this refers to signs of appendicitis or inflamed bowel). Not intended for use during pregnancy. Not intended for use by children.
